Revert-X is a Local band from Chesterfield, Michigan (in the past we have also been known as Torsion, Degenerate, Light Up the Midget, Socket 7, and King Pest). It consists of me (Evan, 17, Guitar, Vocals). Chad (14, Drums and Antics) and Ethan (22,bass, vocals, and the Ranger of Love). The band started out with Me and Chad being retarded in my basement.
And after awhile we started writing songs (which we no longer play cause they sucked). Chad was playing a TKO drum set (a kit which i can not recommend, ever), and I was fooling around on a Epiphone Special. Ethan was playing in a fairly polular local band
, full circle, half of which moved to Lauderdale, Fl, and is now known as "The Getaway Plan". After a while things started to slow down due to stuff happening in mine and chads life. And we sorta stopped playing. During this time i wrote a bunch of songs.
Chad would later say "wow, you wrote alot of songs". :-). Well after awhile things got better and Me and Chad started playing more. During this time we practiced more than we had ever practiced before. And me and Chad started making home recordings
on my Tape Deck and later on my computer. But me and Chad severely wanted a bass player. So we screwed around with a bass player named Eric Nihmchick, but he was already in a band and he lived far away so that didn't last very long. So me and chad
settled back and concentrated on making our music better instead of worrying about a bass player. After awhile the idea of having Ethan play came into our little twisted heads. So we asked Ethan (who had been playing back up guitar and singing in full circle)
and asked him to play bass for us. Ethan came through like nobody else. He not only said yes but he even went out and bought a bass. With the introduction of Ethan, everything seemed to go uphill. I got a 7-string washburn. And Chad got a Royce drumset, but hey
he's got cool heads on them so they sound good!!. And we practiced a few times, and played at 2 partys. And then I met Mister Z (from the band Damn Nation), who is a musician who plays his own type of music, "Shrapnel", and who also has his own recording studio set up. And i started talking to him
about recording. But then i smashed my dads car and so that was put on hold. Then i found out Z is a raging Gay Homosexual. And i found out that Ethan told certain people that he wanted to find a new guitarist (i'm guessing he meant himself), so me and chad are now looking
for a new bass player, and a good recording studio. Hopefully when we play at the wired frog (we are gonna shoot for a few months from the time of this writing), Eric Nihmcheck (Dark Nihm) will play bass for us. Now let me just say, Eric is in a different local band but this
man is a god. He is THE best bass player i have EVER heard. He is a freaking god. Well anyways, thats us. Take it or leave it...
